Are you wondering what the design process would be like if you entrusted me with designing your home? My goal with the entire process is to minimize the amount you spend on plans so that you have more to spend on your home.

Scheduling
You will then get an email or phone call from me to set up a time for a virtual meeting (or on-site meeting for remodels).

Design Meeting
The design meeting is all about you. I want to understand your goals for the space, your lifestyle needs, and what design elements you would like included in the design. It is also helpful to see any design inspirations you have. We will also talk about any possible design constraints. My goal is to think about the project the way you do so that I can limit the number of revisions to save you time and money.
For additions and remodels I also take measurements in the area of work.

Concept Design
As soon as possible after the design meeting, you will receive a pdf version of a rough draft design.

Refine + Final Plans
After you review the design, I will make the required changes. Once you are happy with the design, I refine the drawings into detailed building plans that are ready for technical review, bidding, and permitting.
If paper copies of the final building plans are needed, you will receive those by mail in 3-5 days.

Selection Visualization
After you make selections (paint, flooring, countertops, etc) I can input your selections into the model so you can visualize the selections.

Billing
Once the design work is complete, you will receive an invoice outlining the agreed-upon fees.
